From the Director:
Welcome to Summer School 2008 at New England Conservatory. We offer Institutes • Intensive weekend events • Workshops • Classes • Private studio instruction • Ensemble coaching, extending the facilities of NEC's academic-year programs. The Summer School represents NEC's College Division, School of Continuing Education, Preparatory School, and Office of Community Collaborations; each summer we welcome a local, regional, national, and international student body.
- Adults and college students may choose from the full roster of offerings for credit or non-credit. (If your music background is general, look for courses with a * after the title.)
- Younger musicians may choose from our Programs for Young Performers; teenagers may also take selected adult courses with permission of the instructor.
- Non-credit private lessons are available. Call 617-585-1130 to schedule a placement interview with the appropriate faculty.
