Conductor Laureate of the San Francisco Symphony, Herbert Blomstedt has conducted orchestras in Stockholm, Oslo, Dresden, and Leipzig. In his work with the San Francisco Symphony, he led international tours and received two Grammys, France's Grand Prix du Disque, and Britain's Gramophone Award for his recordings with the orchestra.
