With eight years as CEO of the New York Philharmonic behind her, Deborah Borda began her tenure as Executive Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic in 2000 with ambitious visions for the future. The 2003-2004 concert season marks the realization of one of those goals, the landmark opening of a new home for her orchestra, the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall.
