Clarinetist, composer and arranger Don Byron is well respected on the jazz scene, making numerous recordings and collaborating with artists such as the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Anthony Braxton, Bobby Previte, Mario Bauza, and Marilyn Crispell. Down Beat's "Jazz Artist of the Year" in 1992, Byron moves easily through many styles including classical, jazz, salsa, klezmer, hip hop, and funk.
