Theorist and composer Thomas DeLio has distinguished himself in the area of computer- aided composition and as the creator of a series of live electronic sound installations. The author of several books on the topic of contemporary composers and musical themes, DeLio is the subject of a forthcoming biography. Recently, his opera/installation amounts.to. was premiered at the New Mexico Museum of Art and his orchestra piece Than was included in the recording series, "Masterworks of the New Era."
