Janice Mancini Del Sesto's ten- year career as General Director of the Boston Lyric Opera has garnered praise for creative programming. She was the mastermind behind BLO's extraordinarily successful, full-scale production of Carmen on the Boston Common in 2002. In 2003, Boston Magazine named her one of Boston's "100 Most Powerful Women."
