Vocal Performance
Known as much for his convincing stage portrayals as for his rich voice, bass Justino Diaz won a contract at the Metropolitan Opera before completing his NEC degree. In subsequent years, he would become known for his Jago in Verdi's Otello, portraying the villain at the Met, Covent Garden, and in Franco Zefferelli's film adaptation.
