Lily Afshar

Classical guitarist Lily Afshar, winner of the 2000 Orville H. Gibson Award for Best Female Classical Guitarist, devotes much of her attention to the performance of contemporary works. Afshar serves on the music faculty at the University of Memphis, where she has been honored with the school’s Eminent Faculty Award.
