As leader and sideman, multi-reeds player Marty Ehrlich can be heard on more than 100 recordings and has been recognized by The New York Times , The Nation and the Jazz Journalists Association. He is also known for his work in promoting the musical legacy of his former mentor and colleague, the late jazz saxophonist and composer, Julius Hemphill.
