Composer and ethnomusicologist, Halim El-Dabh is a pioneer of electronic music, whose symphonies, operas, and ballets are performed around the world. His research encompasses the study of music in ancient civilizations and visitors to Egypt can experience his composition, Sounds and Lights of the Pyramids of Giza, inside the Great Pyramid.
