At one time a featured soloist and arranger with Lionel Hampton and Woody Herman, saxophonist Andy McGhee ’49 DP is a professor emeritus at Berklee and one of that school’s most respected teachers. Branford Marsalis has called him one of the most influential teachers he knows.
