Letters of Recommendation

Each individual recommendation should be submitted in a sealed envelope with the signature of the recommender across the flap. The recommender should include the applicant's name and proposed major. Be sure to have the recommender include his/her name, address, and phone number, if letterhead is not used-there are no specific NEC recommendation forms. Most programs require 2 letters of recommendation, but all DMA and AD applicants are required to submit 3 letters: please refer to your program requirements for specific information.

Letters of Recommendation should be mailed to New England Conservatory, Office of Admissions, 290 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.

Please note that while letters of recommendation are due by December 1st they may be submitted separately from other application documents.
