Master of Music (M.M.) and Graduate Diploma (G.D.)
Applicants
Applicants for the Master of Music (M.M.) degree
are required to have completed a Bachelors Degree,
or its recognized equivalent, from an accredited college
or university prior to matriculation. Applicants whose college
work has been completed outside the U.S. are required to
submit all academic records in official English translation,
as well as official documentation of U.S. degree equivalency.
Applicants who do not demonstrate degree equivalency are
not eligible for admission to the M.M. program, but may
be considered for the Graduate Diploma, following recommendation
by the relevant faculty and evaluation by the Dean of Admissions.
Applicants to the Graduate Diploma (G.D.) must hold
a Bachelors Degree, Undergraduate Diploma, or equivalent
certification. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge,
repertoire, and experience comparable to that of M.M. applicants,
but will be expected to meet a higher performance standard.
Graduate applicants should request two (2) artistic letters
of recommendation to be included with the submitted materials.
