Collaborative Piano Audition Requirements
MM/GD applicants
Vocal:
- Brahms Meine Liebe ist grün , high key
- Debussy Il pleure dans mon coeur, high key
- Schubert Frühlingstraum
- Barber St. Ida's Vision
Instrumental:
- Beethoven cello or violin sonata
Solo repertoire:
- Selection of the applicant's choice-one movement may
satisfy this requirement
For all candidates: secondary skills
must be demonstrated through a test of sight-reading of
vocal and instrumental repertoire. All candidates must
bring a complete repertoire list (instrumental and vocal)
in addition to the list of required audition repertoire.
Any changes to the audition requirements must be discussed
with Irma Vallecillo, Chair of Collaborative Piano, at
least four weeks before the scheduled audition.
DMA applicants
Choose one selection from each of the following groups:
1. Beethoven cello or violin sonata
2. Brahms violin, cello, or clarinet (or viola) sonata

Brahms songs (prepare complete list)

For all candidates: secondary skills

must be performed in either original or printed "high" keys.
