	Halim El-Dabh ’53 M.M., ’07 hon. D.M. had a concert of his compositions performed in Rocky River Ohio. Reflections on the River Nile: The Music of Halim El-Dabh was presented by the Rocky River Chamber Music Society, and the concert featured selected works from Halim’s entire career, including the premiere of The Pomegranate Concerto. Halim received an honorary degree from NEC in the spring of 2007. He lives in Kent, Ohio. 1/3/08
	John Houston '57 and his wife Winnie Fitch released a CD, My Friend Nessie, which is a musical story about a boy named Wilver and his serendipitous encounter with a sea monster called Nessie. John and Winnie live in East Sandwich, Mass., where they write songs together. Their stories and songs are now available online as digital downloads or CD rental. 7/3/07
