Clarinetist Jennifer Gilman ’74 M.M. has been teaching instrumental music at Scituate Public Schools for 20 years. She is in her 10th year as a member of the Kaleidoscope Chamber Ensemble. Jennifer has been with her partner Meri Bond for 21 years. She currently lives in Roslindale, Mass. 3/20/09 |

Karen Kimes ’74 M.M. is newly appointed to the position of Executive Director of the Redlands Symphony Orchestra. She now lives in Redlands, Calif. 3/9/09 |

Meira Warshauer ’74, ’76 M.M., ’80 M.M. recently released a new CD of her works, Streams in the Desert. In addition, her piece Shevet Achim for two bass clarinets was presented in May of 2008 by the CUBE Contemporary Chamber Ensemble at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Ill. View a performance of Meira’s Yishakeyni by the Jerusalem Lyric Trio on YouTube. Meira spent May, 2008 at the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, N.H., where she worked on a new piece for shofar, trombone, and orchestra. She currently lives in Colombia, S.C. 2/2/09 |

Dr. Tom Oboe Lee’s (’74 M.M., ’76 M.M.) Walden, Op. 123 was premiered by tenor Ray Bauwens and the Lexington Symphony Chamber Players in June of 2008. Also, in 2007, Intermezzo: the New England Chamber Opera Series, produced a two-act opera by Tom, called The Inman Diaries. Thomas is based in Cambridge, MA 8/21/08 |

Martha Kiefer ’74, ’79 M.M. is currently playing in the Rhode Island Philharmonic, teaching at the University of Rhode Island and Suzuki method at Longy School, and managing the Copley Chamber Players. In her spare time, she has gutted and rebuilt three houses, hiked 600 miles of Appalachian Trail and recently finished swimming 3000 miles at her neighborhood lap pool. She has one son, Lincoln. Martha currently lives in Belmont, Mass. 8/21/08 |

Clyde Edward Hupton ’74 M.M. currently teaches composition and theory at the Diller-Quaile School of Music in New York City. For five months, he performed nightly at the Mt. View Grand Resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. His trio, the Biograph Players, recently accompanied silent films at the Diller-Quaile School, the Donnell Library, and the Harvard Club in NYC. Clyde has recently completed his composition Requiem for the Victims of Genocide, which is scheduled to premiere on Long Island in 2008. Another newly composed song cycle was premiered in NYC. 1/12/08 |

Elizabeth Printy ’74 now lives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and recently performed a recital sponsored by the German Embassy in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the European Union. She performed the works of Mozart, Schumann, and Richard Strauss. 7/3/07 |
