  K. Bryan Kirk ’86, ’88 M.M. has served as Music Director and Organist for the First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls, NY, since January 2005. There he directs a graded choral program and major organ concert series, presenting more than ten different events each year from classical organ concerts to jazz and pops programs, silent films, and Halloween concerts. The church houses the 46th largest pipe organ in the world. Bryan also teaches piano and theory privately and remains active as an organist, pianist, accompanist, composer, and consultant for pipe organ installations in New England and New York State. In addition, he performs annually at the Brick Presbyterian Church on Park Ave. in New York City. He is the Vice President of the Board and Chairman of the Education Committee of the Glens Falls Symphony. He serves as the accompanist to the 80-voice Children’s Chorus, and performs as pianist and organist with the Glens Falls Symphony annually. 7/3/07
  Bruce Ridge ’86, a longtime member of the North Carolina Symphony’s bass section, has been elected Chairman of the International Conference of Symphony and Opera Musicians (ICSOM). He was elected to this position at the ICSOM’s annual meeting in Nashville in the summer of 2006. 7/3/07
  Robert Scheps ’86 played lead alto sax and four other woodwinds with Liza Minnelli at the Maine Center for the Arts on September 16, 2006. He has also performed at famed NY City clubs including the Metropolitan Room, Dizzy’s Club, and Iridium, and has played with numerous ensembles including the Oregon Symphony, The Village Vanguard Orchestra and the Rob Scheps / Ed Neumeister Quintet. He performed with fellow alumnus Carl Stormer ’83 in Oslo and Berlin in April of 2007 – they are on tour in Norway with bassist Cameron Brown. They plan to release a double CD. Robert was commissioned by the new music group Third Angle to compose a chamber piece, called “Global Citizens” – this work received its premiere to great acclaim in Portland, OR. In addition, Rob has given clinics at Nassau Community College in New York and Drake University in Iowa. 7/3/07
  Jeff Weinmann ’86 played drums and percussion on the CD "Bring Babylon Down" by the Lutsinga Musical Ensemble which also features John Chmaj '85 M.M. on piano. 7/3/07

Christopher Costanza '86 M.M., '89 A.D., a member of the St. Lawrence String Quartet, recently released a new recording of Shostakovich String Quartets 3, 7 & 8 on EMI Classics Label. The St. Lawrence String Quartet is ensemble-in-residency at Stanford University, where Christopher and his wife Debra Fong '86, '88 M.M, both teach. They live with their daughter Annabel in Palo Alto, Calif. 3/19/07
