  Greg Burk ’98 M.M. released a CD, Berlin Bright, on Soul Note/Blacksaint Records. The CD is a collaborative project with three musicians who live and play in Berlin: saxophonist Ignaz Dinne` ’97, bassist Jonathan Robinson, and drummer Andrea Marcelli. The group made the recording after completing a successful tour in Germany. Gregory has also released Ivy Trio with bassist Jonathan Robinson and drummer Luther Gray. Gregory currently lives in Rome, Italy, where he teaches jazz at the Saint Louis College of Music. He is also an adjunct professor at the Conservatory of Frosinone. 1/13/08
Tahirah Whittington '98 Cellist Tahirah Whittington ’98 performed as a soloist in the Sphinx Laureates at Carnegie Hall concert. The concert featured music from the standard classical repertoire, as well as underperformed masterpieces by Black and Latino composers. Tahirah is currently living in Jacksonville, Fla. 1/13/08
Pianist Brian Lee ’98 M.M. released his first CD, Restoration, featuring works by Chopin, Liszt, Schubert, and an arrangement of Albert Hay Malotte’s “The Lord’s Prayer.”  This past year, he also collaborated with violinist and Assistant Concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, David Taylor in a performance of the Brahms Horn Trio for a faculty recital at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where Brian is currently Associate Professor of Music. Brian and his wife Helen currently reside in the Chicago area and are the proud parents of three boys. 11/20/07
  Annette Chang Barger ’98 M.M. has joined the U.S. Army Strings in Washington, D.C. and was recently married. 7/3/07
  Composer Lior Navok ’98 M.M. had his piece, Hope Cycles (String Quartet #2) commissioned by the Koussevitzky Music Foundation, performed by the Borromeo String Quartet at the Cape Cod Music Festival in August of 2006. The Borromeo Quartet also performed its Boston premiere in October 2006. 7/3/07
