You Can Enroll in Fall Courses Now!
Fall Semester School of Continuing Education Classes start Saturday, September 13 or the week of Monday, September 15, unless otherwise stated in the course description. Beginning August 11, you can download course catalog and registration form as PDF pages (to right of this text), with Classical listings beginning page 19, World Music beginning page 35, Jazz beginning page 45.
- Most SCE classes are stand-alone topics that are one semester long, with offerings both spring and fall.
- Classes meet at times that are convenient for working people.
- 2008/2009 Kodaly Level I Certification Coursework is described on pages 16 and 36-39 of the catalog. Find downloadable Level I application form and registration procedures, plus complete information on NEC's program of Kodaly certificate studies.
- Register now by mail or fax, up until each class begins. Download 2008/09 Registration Form
- Beginning September 2, register in-person Tuesday-Saturday at the 241 St. Botolph Street building, Room 120.
- All registration is by the semester and requires $35 registration fee.
- Call 617-585-1130 to sign up for placement interviews for private lessons, large and small ensembles, and performance classes beginning August 18.
- After August 25, call 617-585-1125 Tuesday-Friday for academic advisement, help with special placements, and information about tuition assistance.
