Undergraduate Diploma

This program provides intensive studio instruction during three years of study in instrumental performance, vocal performance, or composition. Students register for repertoire coaching, ensemble, chamber music, and course work related to their major. Audition standards are higher than those for the Bachelor of Music program.

Strings: Violin, Viola, Violoncello, Double Bass, Guitar, Harp

Woodwinds: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone

Brass and Percussion: Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Percussion

* Contemporary Improvisation and Jazz Studies programs are offered through Jazz Studies and Improvisation department. First-year students may enter the department without declaring a major, but are expected to do so at the end of the first year.
