The Weilerstein Trio, NEC’s trio-in-residence, features Donald Weilerstein, violin, a founder of the renowned Cleveland Quartet. His wife, Vivian Hornik Weilerstein, piano, established the Professional Piano Trio Training Program at NEC. Their daughter Alisa, cello, has received the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant.
