NEC Annual Fund

Goal: $17.5 million

Every aspect of life at New England Conservatory is supported by the NEC Annual Fund. The revenue needed to run a complex organization like the Conservatory comes from the unrestricted annual contributions of thousands of donors, in addition to endowment income and tuition. These individual gifts of all sizes help pay for scholarships, faculty recruitment, free concerts and masterclasses, library resources, travel to competitions, technology, security, and maintenance?and everything else that keeps this great institution flourishing.

Your gift to the NEC Annual Fund is valuable in another way: it provides immediate support. A yearly gift of $32,500 is equivalent to the income generated by $650,000 in endowment – enough to pay the tuition for one or more student(s) for one year. A gift of $5,000 to the Annual Fund equals the income generated by $100,000 in endowment.

Every Annual Fund gift has an impact beyond its immediate value; it is a lifeline of immediate support, and makes NEC stronger for the future.
