Kids in Harmony 2008
April 6, 2008
3:30pm concert, NEC's Jordan Hall
NEC's Kids in Harmony 2008 has as its objectives:
- to increase awareness of the Preparatory School’s offerings
- to support programming and faculty
- to raise critical scholarship support in order to sustain our commitment to serving children and young adults with financial need.
This is the NEC Preparatory School's only annual fundraising event. With your important help, our goal is to reach a net of $100,000 in support of these objectives, including tuition assistance for 100 young learners who might not otherwise be able to take advantage of the Preparatory School's ensembles and course offerings.
Here are the different ways you can support this event:
All new or increased contributions made in support of Kids in Harmony will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a generous anonymous donor, up to $200,000.
The event brings parents and educators together with community, corporate and philanthropic leaders to celebrate New England Conservatory’s impact on youth and to honor world leaders in music and musical education.
A wide-ranging musical program, representing the stages of musical education, will precede an awards ceremony, auction and dinner.
