Outstanding Alumni Award
Recipients
Since 1978, the NEC Alumni Council has honored the outstanding achievements of alumni who have distinguished themselves as performers, composers, conductors, music educators, administrators, scholars, and community leaders. The Outstanding Alumni Award reflects NEC founder Eben Tourjée’s vision of a school that would produce musical missionaries, who through their work would ennoble their communities and improve the lives of others. Recipients are selected by the Alumni Council Awards Committee and are honored at reunion and other special events.
