From celebration to ovation Reunion Weekend 2008 was a smashing success!
With over 250 people visiting NEC, this year's Reunion was the largest in recent history. Seven decades of alumni were present and represented a multitude of musical disciplines.
The weekend was rich with presentations and stellar performances, which were occasionally accompanied by misty, if not joyfully teary eyes.
There were many memorable moments - a few a which we have captured below. Even if you were unable to attend, we hope you will enjoy perusing these pictures, looking for old friends and sharing in this encore performance of Reunion Weekend. |

NEC Honors Frank Battisti |
| |
| On Saturday, May 17th, NEC alumni gathered to reunite with a favorite conductor, Frank Battisti. The morning started with a discussion, moderated by M.I.T's Director of Wind Ensembles, Fred Harris '95 M.M. |
| After lunch, the group reconvened in Brown Hall for an open rehearsal of the Holst Suites in F and E-flat, Grainger's Lincolnshire Posey, and Persichetti's Symphony. |
Though several years and maybe a few grey hairs separated alumni from their prior days in Wind Ensemble, the music that made here was beautiful and timeless. |
| The ensemble watched intently for cues from their conductor. |
