Welcome to the Office of Student Life at New England Conservatory!
Here in Student Life we strive to provide for our students needed respite from the classroom and practice room. NEC students are so focused that I'm sure if their body did not demand that they sleep or eat, they wouldn't. Although we cannot demand that NEC students get a life outside of music, we certainly do encourage them to! Each semester is full of events that we hope will entice our beloved students out of the practice room. Follow this link to upcoming events.
The 2007-2008 academic year is up and running! Students are practicing, studying, performing and managing to squeeze in a little fun here and there. There is never a dull moment here in Student Life and every day brings exciting ideas and challenges. I am blessed this year with an amazing staff of 14 students whose ideas and contribution to Student Life truly make this department alive and in motion.
We have created something very special here at NEC and it is every individual student, staff and faculty member that through their collaboration and individual contribution make this Conservatory unique, great, and something to be proud of.
It's an exciting time to be here at NEC!
