The Conservatory has a relationship with the Boston Central Branch YMCA (adjacent to Jordan Hall on Huntington Avenue) that allows NEC students, faculty, and staff to receive fitness memberships at a substantial discount.
The joining fee is $50.00; the monthly fee is $35.00, which will be automatically deducted from a credit card account. Membership can be cancelled at any time with a two-week notice. Membership Passes can only be purchased at the YMCA Membership Office with a valid NEC ID.For more information on the Central Branch of the YMCA please visit their website.
Students can receive an 11% discount on MBTA monthly passes when they are purchased in advance for the entire semester. Passes come in varieties ranging from subway-only to combo passes that cover transportation on the city's entire network of subways, buses, and commuter trains.
Convenient order forms can be obtained from the Business Office or the Office of Student Life. The order forms are due in the first week in August and the first week in January for the following semester.

If you have ordered a Semester T Pass, they can be picked up at the Student Life Satellite Office in Jordan Hall. The office hours for Fall 2005 will be posted in September.
Movie passes valid at all Loews Theaters (including the Copley Place Theatre, Loews Boston Common, among others) are available to NEC students with valid ID cards for $5.75 each. Movie passes are only available at Satellite Office. Please see above for the office hours.
