NEC Logo - Graphic Designers
These are downloadable, high-resolution copies of the NEC logo in various pre-assigned colors, and in different file formats. These logos are primarily intended for use by designers and layout artists in printed materials. They are created for use on a Mac, but some files maybe be adaptable for use on PCs as well.
Fully-scalable renditions in the three official colors (black, white, and PMS541), as well as the blind-emboss version, are available as Adobe Illustrator .eps files. Use of these files will ensure the highest possible resolution in most circumstances. Where .eps files are not appropriate, a 600 dpi Photoshop .tif version of the logo should work. The .tif logo may be scaled (down-sized only, unless a lower resolution is acceptable: please check printing specs before re-sizing), and colored to any of the three official colors (as above).
The logo may be knocked-out of a varicolored background or photograph so long as there is sufficient contrast to the background to clearly maintain the legibility of the entire logo.
For CMYK (four-color) print jobs, PMS 541 (dark blue) can be converted to process colors, but please ensure that the process renditions are as close to the PMS originals as possible. Please do not substitute any “dark blue” —use only Photoshop-, Illustrator-, or Quark-generated facsimilies, or Pantone Process equivalents.
Please do not apply any other colors to the logo, or mix colors within the logo. Please do not skew, distort or rotate the logo (except to match the general orientation of the layout).
