NEC LogoNew England Conservatory is currently branded by this logo or wordmark:
This logo is currently in use on all current NEC printed communications and on each page of the NEC Web site. Its widespread application promotes consistency and contributes to a sense of confidence in NEC’s professionalism. In almost all instances, the NEC logo will appear as two lines of "stacked" type, as seen above. In exceptional cases, the NEC Marketing Department may recommend a single-line treatment, and in such cases, we will supply you with appropriate artwork. Please allow a minimum of one-quarter inch of space between any outside edge of the NEC logo and the edge of your layout. Please do not combine the NEC logo with other illustrations or graphic or verbal elements. NEC does not use a marketing "tagline" adjacent to the logo; please do not add any such tagline. The NEC logo should appear in the same general orientation as the copy in your layout, e.g. not at a tilt or on its side. It should not be used to create a "wallpaper" repeat pattern. ColorNEC’s logo should normally be printed in one of these colors:
Please do not apply any other color to the logo or mix colors within the logo. Please seek guidance when applying the logo over a light-colored background, or when dropped-out as “white” against a photographic background that includes light-colored areas. Occasionally an NEC publication will use a different color for the logo, as part of an overall design concept based on color usage. A special treatment of the logo has also been prepared for use as a blind emboss (a colorless impression molded directly into the paper). The emboss logo has slightly different proportions and spacing from the regular logo, and should only be used for this purpose.
