Piano and Harpsichord

An excellent and enjoyable introduction to the piano for beginners or for those with very little previous musical experience. Classes emphasize rhythm, technique, development of reading skills, and a varied repertoire. Advanced sections are added as needed. Prerequisite: Call the instructor at 617-267-0249 for placement and further information. Limit: six students per section.

Music for Two Pianists

Challenge and refine your skills in the mastering of selected pieces from the four-hand and duo-piano repertoire. This summer we will focus on the enormously rich literature for piano four-hands. This course offers training in practice and rehearsal techniques, including sight-reading and making interpretive decisions, and ends with a recital. All subsequent meetings will be scheduled at the beginning session. Prerequisite: Call the instructor at 617-288-3697 or email ragoodwin1@msn.com for a placement interview by June 9, 2008.
