NEC Summer School 2009

From the Summer School Director:

Welcome to NEC’s Summer School! Now is the time to register for those classes you’ve always wanted to take, whether you are a seasoned professional, an avid amateur, or an interested experimenter. Summer School registration continues, and there are still spaces available.

  • Institutes are intensive programs of study lasting from 2 days to 3 weeks, carrying  a range of credit and non-credit options: G (graduate), UG (undergraduate), CE (Continuing Education), non-credit, auditor, day pass. Financial aid and tuition discounts are available.
  • Classes & Ensembles meet weekly or twice-weekly; most classes carry CE and non-credit, some offer G and UG credit.
  • Private studio instruction for non-credit is available on most instruments and music theory and composition. Call 617-585-1130 for lesson placement.

Adults and college students may choose from the full roster of offerings for credit or non-credit. (If your music background is general, look for courses with a * after the title.) Younger musicians may choose from our Programs for Young Performers; teenagers may also take selected adult courses with permission of the instructor.

Questions? Contact me at 617-585-1126 or at mulmer@newenglandconservatory.edu

We hope to see you this summer!
