Valentina Lass
Piano, Chamber Music
M.M. piano performance and piano pedagogy (Moscow State Conservatory); piano studies with Natanson and Feinberg; organ studies with Goedicke and Rosima. As the pianist for Piano Trio of Moscow Concert Organization, she performed music of classical and contemporary composers in twenty-eight countries and appeared in televised performances in the Soviet Union and East Berlin. Award winner of the International Competition of the Youth and All-Union Competition of Musicians (Moscow) and has made recordings in Russia, Germany, Denmark. Lass has served as piano instructor and accompanist for Brookline Community Choir, Longy School of Music, Wheaton College, Music at Eden's Edge, and currently at the New England Conservatory of Music, Extension Division and Preparatory School.
